How devices can be used for learning
How devices can be used for learning
Devices have been Introduced to children to help them learn in all ways possible. This helps them focus more on their learning and can be used to build up responsibility, with several other reasons.
Devices get your child ready for the future. These days good jobs require good technology skills. Teachers introduce devices to your children at a young age to get them ready for high school. This could also help them get a good job when they're older, for example children could get a great job with coding . With devices children have a great future in their hands and to help them do that they have access devices anywhere anytime.
Children can use devices anywhere anytime . A child can use a device at home to do learning if they are sick instead of just lying around doing nothing. The teacher could give them some tasks to do online and you could complete them. If devices can be used every where then children can use them for anything.
Kids can use devices for all learning reasons. For example they can use it for reading, writing, math, science and coding. This is because learning on devices can make it easier and more educational for all subjects. With devices children can use learning resources easily like maths buddy and google drive.
Devices can be used for learning because they get them ready for the future and all the latest softwares around the world and children can use them anywhere anytime and they can use them for everything.
Term 3 projects
In term 3 we are starting projects to do with science. The 3 project options are learning it by asking a question and using the research process, prove it by constructing an item for a science fair or earning a science badge by completing tasks to earn 20 stars and the last option is to do a teach it which could look like creating a science YouTube channel or doing lessons for the other learning commons. I chose to do a project about earning an astronomy science badge.

Week 9 Why we need plants to live
Why we need plants to live?
Plants have so many benefits and some examples are that it purifies the air, it provides us with food and many other reasons.
Plants give us oxygen. This is because of the photosynthesis process which is carbon dioxide and water, then they take the energy from the sunlight and produce it into oxygen and food which we can’t live without. Did you know 90% of all the water in the plants roots is eventually released back into the atmosphere to purify the air which is also part of photosynthesis?
If we had no plants, then there would be no food. Every food there is in the world has something from plants. Therefore plants give us food so we can’t live without them. Did you know some plants even have medicinal properties?
Plants have so many medicinal properties. For example, lavender is known to help you stay calm and relaxed. It also helps release pain and when you apply to cuts and bruises it is a great antiseptic.
In conclusion, we need plants to live because they give us oxygen, food and provide plants that have medicinal properties.
